Malindo Air to serve Kuala Lumpur-Adelaide

Malindo Air will start new services for international route for Kuala Lumpur to Adelaide with transit in Denpasar, Bali. This flight service will start effectively on April 16, 2019, and will be served by Boeing 737-800NG and 737-900ER.

In the initial stage, Malindo Air will serve four flights a week with flight number OD-173. It will depart from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (KUL) International Airport and then transit at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Denpasar, Bali (DPS) before continue flights to Adelaide International Airport, South Australia. The return flight services use the OD-174 flight number.

Malindo Air also launches two new international routes, Langkawi to Phuket, Thailand and Johor Bahru to Guangzhou, China.

Flights to Phuket are served every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Flight OD-1720 will depart from Langkawi International Airport (LGK) to Phuket International Airport (HKT). Return flights are served with OD-1721 number. Flights to this route are served with a fleet of ATR 72-600 aircraft, with promo ticket rates starting at RM89 (around Rp.310 thousand) one way.

While flights to Guangzhou every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Flights from Johor Bahru to Guangzhou are offered a promotional price of RM259 (around Rp901 thousand) for economy class and RM699 (around Rp.2.43 million) for business class.

Malindo Air operates a Boeing 737-800NG with a capacity of 12 business classes and 150 economy classes for flights to the Bamboo Curtain country.

With the flight number OD-664 the plane departs from Senai International Airport (JHB) to Guangzhou (CAN) Baiyun International Airport. The reverse route is served with flight number OD-665.
